Faith, family, and a love for the Georgia outdoors
High Point Quail Hunting Preserve was founded in 2015 by Gabe Robinson with a simple vision: to provide a premier quail hunting experience grounded in faith, respect for the land, and a love for the great Georgia outdoors. What began as a dream has grown into one of Carroll County's most welcoming shooting preserves.
Located at 1800 Highpoint Road in Bowdon, Georgia, our preserve sits in the heart of Carroll County — about one hour west of Atlanta and roughly five miles off I-20 at Exit 5. Its convenient location makes it an easy destination for hunters coming from across the metro area and the broader Southeast.
Our 210-acre preserve is a testament to thoughtful land stewardship. The property features a beautiful mix of plantation-thinned pine stands, open agricultural fields, hardwood creek bottoms, and gently rolling terrain — precisely the kind of diverse habitat that bobwhite quail thrive in. Walking the grounds of High Point, you are surrounded by the sights, sounds, and smells of classic Georgia hunting country.
We take great pride in maintaining our land so that every hunter — whether stepping onto a shooting preserve for the first time or returning for their tenth season — has an authentic, enjoyable experience. The rolling topography adds challenge and character to every hunt, and the variety of cover types means every outing feels fresh.
We offer both guided and unguided hunts to accommodate all experience levels. Guided hunts are led by knowledgeable handlers with well-trained dogs, making them ideal for beginners, corporate groups, or anyone who wants to focus on shooting and enjoying the day. Unguided hunts give experienced hunters the freedom to work the land at their own pace.
Packages are available in half-day and full-day options and can accommodate groups of one to three shooters, with additional shooter pricing available. We also offer pheasant alongside our signature quail, as well as add-on bird cleaning to make taking your harvest home as easy as possible.
Our tagline — "Glory Be To The Father" — is not just words. It reflects the foundation upon which High Point was built. We believe that time spent in God's creation, whether hunting with old friends or introducing a child to the outdoors for the first time, is a gift. We strive to conduct our business with honesty, hospitality, and gratitude.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
